SAFETY POLICY
In accordance with Hire Association of Europe requirements all items hired from Smithy Hire are fully tested and serviced before and after each hire. Safety instructions are supplied and our staff are fully trained in the demonstration of the correct method of using all equipment. It is strongly recommended that customers take appropriate safety equipment when hiring goods. Smithy Hire supplies a complete range in specially prepared packs, and our staff would be happy to advise on the appropriate pack for the equipment you are hiring.
DELIVERY SERVICE
Smithy Hire would be delighted to deliver and collect your equipment. A small delivery charge may be made for this depending on location. Alternatively, please ask our staff and they will be happy to advise on the appropriate transport required should you wish to collect from our shop.
HELP IN MANAGING YOUR COSTS
Our computer system allows us to print a weekly list of items which you have on hire. This information can be provided to enable you to manage your hired equipment more effectively, and thus exercise tighter control of your costs. A small fee may be charged for this dependent upon the level of business done.
TERMS OF TRADE
Non account customers: A deposit is required before the hire starts. Account customers: Strictly Net Monthly Account.
